Service manager Michelle Wright,tech John Rutkowski and Corvette service manager Rachel Laboda went above and beyond in taking care of the alignment issue on my 2019 Corvette Grand Sport in advising me that they had to contact Chevy Tech Assistance.I was provided with a Chevy vehicle to get home to Grand Island NY from the dealership in Macedon NY no charge.I was kept updated as Tech assistance involvement.I was called when vehicle was completed and was afforded time to speak to the tech John Rutkowski and Michelle Wright as to how the issue was corrected My experience at Van Bortel Chevy was way above my expectations as to their professionalism,product knowledge and eagerness to solve my problem in that they got Tech Assistance involved immediately.I have been telling my many Corvette friends of my experience at Van Bortel Chevy as well as the the prompt technical assistance from Chevrolet. I have become a loyal Van Bortel customer as a result.

I never have to worry when I go to Van Bortel Chevy. I know they will take care of my Corvette like it was their own. I drive right by another Chevy dealer to go Van Bortel even though it’s 15 miles.

I was on the hunt to find a 2019 Grand Sport however the inventory was quickly depleting. I came across a very rare combination Grand Sport that was a little more than what I was looking to spend. I spoke with Matt Fagenbaum who was very professional and well composed. We worked together to align the pricing but just a little bit away. Not being located in the state had its challenging. Matt not only went the extra mile and took additional pictures but made 2 videos to reinforce the rarity of the corvette. Matt helped me cross the finish line. I am glad he was there to help guide me in making the right decision. I will be back again one day and will definitely look for Matt and Van Bortel.

On June 9, 2020 I had our 2013 Corvette Grand Sport Serviced at Van Bortel Chevrolet in Macedon, N.Y.. We always have Chief Mechanic John Rutkowski perform all of our service on the Corvette. John is very knowledgeable and thorough, as well as very personable when performing the work on our 2013 Corvette Grand Sport. I am a long time member of the Rochester Corvette Club and the present owner of 3 Corvettes. When ever someone asks me who could I recommend to perform good service on a Corvette, we recommend John at Van Bortel Chevrolet in Macedon, N.Y..

Rachel is very good to work with. She is professional, and courteous. She returns my phone calls and e-mails in a very timely and comprehensive fashion. John is a terrific mechanic. He is the big reason why I bring my 1971 and 2014 Vettes to you for service. Especially the ’71. John knows these older cars inside and out. He found the root cause of a problem that I’ve been chasing for a long time, and will be doing the repair. Please let these fine associates know that I appreciate them.
